Our approach rests on a simple idea: good dance work begins with respect — for the art form, for its traditions, and for the people who practise it.

Artistic expression

Technique serves expression. We look for movement that means something to the person performing it.

We honour the time and effort dance demands and do not promise shortcuts.

We learn about styles in context and avoid stereotype, caricature or costume used as spectacle.

Safety, consent and clear expectations come before any performance goal.

We revisit how we work and adjust when something can be done better.
